About GCFUK
Welcome to the official website of Gujarati Christian Fellowship UK,
(GCFUK). It was in August 2007 that few Gujarati Christian friends
residing in UK felt the need & divine leading to initiate a forum where
Christians of Gujarati origin can get a platform to worship Jesus Christ
in their mother tongue & address each others' social needs, and hence
GCFUK came into existence. In the foundation of GCFUK lie the
objectives of becoming a Christ centred, Compassionate & Caring
community of Gujarati Christians residing in the UK.
AIM & Purpose
* To unite the Gujarati Christians in UK
* To provide fellowship
* To provide moral, spiritual & social nourishment
* To help and support the needy members and families of GCF in
education, vocation, sickness and natural calamities
* To extend support in cash & kind, to the needy Christian
families in Gujarat, India
* To help & support Gujarat in particular and India in general
in the event of any natural disaster, without any discrimination
of caste, creed or religion.
* To encourage the members to grow socially, spiritually and
economically.
BELIEFS: We believe in
* God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God
the Holy Spirit.
* Infallibility of Bible: The Bible is the word of God
* Man is fallen by sin and the redemption is only through the
blood of Jesus Christ
* Virgin Birth, Crucifixion, Death, Resurrection, second coming
and work of redemption of Jesus Christ.
* The spread of gospel for salvation of mankind.
Eligibility for Membership: Any person who is
* Gujarati Christian, irrespective of denomination.
* Resident of UK
* Accepting the above beliefs
* Agreeing with the aim and purpose of GCF.
