July Sunday Service - 18th July 2010 - Hounslow
  • The Gujarati Church in UK organised its regular Gujarati Church Service on 18th July 2010 at the Salvation Army Church in Hounslow between 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm, approximately 26 members attended the Church Service. The Gujarati Choir led the congregation in time of worship. The Church service was led by Mr. Heflin Jani. Mr. Davidson Solanki brought the message.

    The message was based on 2 Chronicles 20: 1-30 and his main emphasis was on verse 17, "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you". The Church service was ended with light refreshments provided by Mrs and Mr. Vinay Mekwan and family.

  • July Sunday Service - 11th July 2010 - Wembley
    • The Gujarati Church UK praises God almighty for the Sunday Service on 11th July 2010 that was held at the Methodist Church Hall, Wembley. Approximately 80 members from different part of London and nearby areas attended the Gujarati Church Service. The Service was led by Mr. Heflin Jani. The Gujarati Choir led the congregation in to worship. Rev Immanual Christian gave an in-depth Bible based teaching on the Holy Communion based on 1 Corinthians 11:23-34. There after he ministered Holy Communion to the congregation.

      During the Church Service 38 members were accepted and formaly welcomed as members of the Gujarati Church UK. Later, Mr. Davidson Solanki announced the notices and briefed about the upcoming events; the Summer Picnic on 17th July, Family Seminar on 29th August and the Gujarati Church service in Hounslow on 19th July 2010. Also, friends visiting the Gujarati Church in UK for the first time were welcomed; members who had their birthdays and marriage anniversaries too were wished and congratulated. The Church Service was ended with refreshment sponsored by Nickson Christian & family, giving time and opportunity for members to meet and greet each other.

    • July Sunday Service - 4th July 2010 - Hounslow
      • On Sunday, 4th of July 2010 the Gujarati Church Service was organised at the Salvation Army Church in Hounslow, greater London. Approximately 35 members participated in the Church Service from different part of the London.

        The Choir led the members in time of worship. The Church Service was led by Mr. Heflin Jani and message was brought by Rev. Immanual Christian. His message was based on Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest". Later notices were announced and visitors were welcomed by Mr. Davidson Solanki.

      • June Sunday Service - 20th June 2010 - Hounslow
        • It was much awaited event for the Gujarati Christian Fellowship United Kingdom. By the grace of our God almighty, on Sunday, 20 June 2010 at 3:00 pm Gujarati Christian Fellowship United Kingdom initiated its first Gujarati Church Service in Hounslow (Greater London). This was organsied in the The Salvation Army Church, Hounslow. It was another milestone in the history of Gujarati Christian Fellowship United Kingdom as this is the second Gujarati Church service initiated in London, UK.

          The Church Service was led by Rev. Immanuel Christian. The Gujarati choir led the congregation in worship. The Church Service was blessed by the presence of distinguished guests namely the honourable Bishop Vinod Malaviya of Church of North India, Gujarat Diocese; India, The Revd John Chapman, Chaplain for International Churches, Diocese of London, Church of England and some former Missionaries who served in the State of Gujarat, Revd Bill Holiday and Mrs. Patricia Holiday, and Mr. Nicholas Johnson. Mr. Davidson Solanki introduced and welcomed the guests and flowers were given to honour them. Approximately 75 members from different parts of the London attended and witnessed the inauguration of Gujarati Church Service in Hounslow area.

          Honourable Bishop Malaviya encouraged and blessed the members with his challenging sermon based on Psalm 138. He encouraged the members to have deep faith in God. Rev John Chapman brought greetings from the Church of England. Mrs. Patricia also thanked the members for the warm welcome. After the Church Service Bishop Vinod Malaviya called the children in front and prayed for them and blessed them.

          Later, after the announcement of notices the Church Service was ended with refreshments, giving time and opportunity to meet the guests and received the blessings.

        June Sunday Service - 13th June 2010
        • On Sunday, 13th June 2010 at 3.30 pm the Gujarati Church Service was organised at the Methodist Church hall, Ealing Road Wembley. Approximately 75 members attended the Church Service.
          The service was led by Pastor Immanual Christian. The Gujarati Choir led members into time of praise and worship. For the first time the Gujarati Church in UK, offered its official membership. During the Service 9 members were accepted and welcomed as an official member of the Gujarati Church in UK. Members praised God by sharing their testimonies which made the enviroment alive and spiritual.
          The message was brought by Mr. Heflin Jani reflecting on the faith and healing. The Scripture reading was Mark 5: 21-43 Healing of woman with blood issue and raising the dead girl. Mr. Heflin gave a brief introduction to the passage and made comparison of the two miracles. The contrast between faith of the woman who was sick from twelve years and faith of synagogue rulers was emphasised. Members were encouraged to keep strong faith in Lord Jesus.
          Later, Mr. Davidson Solanki announced the notices and briefed about the upcoming events about Summer Picnic on 17th July, 2010 and Family Seminar on 29th August 2010 and launch of Gujarati Church service in Hounslow from 20 June 2010. Also, friends visiting the Gujarati Church in UK for the first time were welcomed; members who had their birthdays and marriage anniversaries too were wished and congratulated. The Church Service was ended with refreshment, giving time and opportunity for members to meet and greet each other.

        Passion Week & Easter Celebration - 2010
        • Approximately 80 members attended this GCFUK Gujarati Church’s Good Friday service at the Ealing Road Methodist church hall - led by Davidson Solanki and the message ‘forgive others as God forgives you’ brought by Rev Immanuel Christian.

        Day of Prayer for Haiti - 20th Feb 2010
        • On 20th February, Saturday, GCFUK dedicated a day long prayer chain for the wounded nation of Haiti commencing 4:30 am until 6pm later dissolving in a prayer meeting until 8pm at Ealing Road Methodist Church hall.

        February Church Service - 14 February 2010
        • Approximately 90 members participated in this Gujarati Church service on 14 February 2010. Mr. Heflin Jani led the service and the message was brought by Rev Immanuel Christian reflecting on Jesus: The pathway to success.

        Gujarati Church Christmas Celebration - 19 December 2009
        • Today, looking forward to the Christmas day - a blessed generation of the most highly Exalted One at THE GUJARATI CHURCH got together to worship HIM in Spirit and in Truth. Approximately 180 members participated in this THE GUJARATI CHURCH December-Christmas 2009 worship service. Rev Immanuel Christian led the service and the message was brought by Mr. Davidson Solanki reflecting on the thought of Christmas, God’s love for you and me – the birth of Jesus (His nature- a humble, approachable, courageous and a loving God).

        Gujarati Church Sunday service - 08 November 2009
        • Approximately 120 members participated in this GCFUK November 2009 worship service. Pastor Immanuel Christian led the service and the message was brought by Mr. Heflin Jani reflecting on the heart of our God-our heavenly Father.

        United Alperton Churches – Open Air Gospel Outreach Programme
        • On the evening of 6th September once again in a collective effort the United Churches of Alperton got together to bring the Good News of Lord Jesus Christ to the people of Ealing Road, Wembley.

        GCFUK 2nd Anniversary & Choir Sunday - 09 August 2009
        • Approximately 100 members participated in this GCFUK 2nd Anniversary and Choir Sunday Worship Service. Rev. Immanuel Christian ministered the Holy Communion during the service.

        Summer Picnic - 18 July 2009
        • Seventy one members and friends boarded the bus from their designated pick up points and with a prayer for God’s grace on the entire journey and day the bus finally left Wembley’s Ealing Road Methodist Church for Yarmouth. The spirits were already high in this double Decker bus. Like most the gifted singers and musicians chose the upper deck and the mood pepped up as they worshiped the Lord through a song game ‘Antaakshari’ all through the journey to Yarmouth and the same mood observed whilst returning to London in the evening.

        Gujarati Church Sunday service - 12 July 2009
        • Approximately 65 members participated in this worship service.

          Highlight of this worship service was special time for thanksgiving and personal testimonies. During this time, Mrs Luciana Melo - wife of our beloved late Rev. Renato Melo (former Pastor of Alperton Baptist Church) came forward & shared her wonderful testimony. She emphasised the importance of personal relationship with God even at the time of crisis in life. She encouraged the congregation to work on mending broken relationships and nurturing the relationships we already have.

          Pastor Immanuel brought a brief message about the dangers of ‘prosperity gospel’. He said the ‘true happiness’, can only come from Jesus’ as He is the source of all joy. Jesus is ‘the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.’(Hebrews 12:2).

          Friends visiting Gujarati Christian Fellowship United Kingdom (GCFUK) were heartily welcomed. 3 Children artists, who performed during the GCFUK Cultural Event on 21 June, were felicitated and encouraged by special prises. Also, special prayers were offered for members who celebrated their birthdays and marriage anniversaries in July.

          The meeting later ended with light refreshments giving time and opportunity for individuals and families to socialise and share about their lives with each other.
