United Alperton Churches – Open Air Gospel Outreach Programme
‘God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life’ – John 3:16

On the evening of 6th September once again in a collective effort the United Churches of Alperton got together to bring the Good News of Lord Jesus Christ to the people of Ealing Road, Wembley.

The churches of Alperton namely the Methodist Church, Alperton Baptist church, St. James Church, The Prophesy of God, Tamil Fellowship, Urdu Fellowship and the Gujarati Christian Fellowship United Kingdom (GCFUK) got together in this outreach programme.

The event included songs of worship by choirs from different groups with diverse languages which included various Asian languages including Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil and English languages. Rev. Stanley Barker of Methodist Church and Rev. John Root of the St. James Church brought God’s word in English proclaiming the love of God.

Ealing Road area essentially being an Asian pocket the onus was very much on the Asian congregations bringing the messages in respective Gujarati, Tamil and Hindi. On behalf of the Gujarati Christian Fellowship, Mr. Samuel Solanki and Mr. Ajay More from Urdu fellowship brought brief messages in Gujarati & Hindi respectively. Samuel Solanki elaborated Jesus words ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’ (John 14:6). He portrayed the uniqueness of Jesus as the Son of God who in love sacrificed His life for forgiveness and redemption of humanity and whoever believes in him has eternal life. While Ajay More, spoke on the redeeming power of Jesus.

Through out the programme, many people stopped by and heard the Good News.

The entire event was a success with all glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ without whose infinite Grace this event would have been unimaginable. God is being faithful in equipping Christian men and women of the Wembley congregations to come boldly proclaiming their confidence in Jesus. All gory & honour to Christ Jesus our Lord & Saviour - Amen!
