Approximately 90 members participated in this Gujarati Church service on 14 February 2010. Mr. Heflin Jani led the service and the message was brought by Rev Immanuel Christian reflecting on Jesus: The pathway to success.

Everyday, every moment individuals around the world are seeking success and prosperity overlooking the fact that Jesus, the Master is the only way to success. From the above reading, Peter’s life is an implicit example of success. John 15:5 tells us that without Jesus Christ the human kind is worthless; thus the Lord completes us and our life would be successful when we fulfil the purpose for which we were created, namely, to know, love and serve God on earth so as to be happy with Him forever in heaven. Success in itself is a blessing however in this day and age it is essential to remember as taught in Luke 5:11 that we shall follow the giver of blessing and not the blessings itself. Thereby, reminding us that when God is with us, nothing in this universe can harm us.

The message was followed by partaking of the Holy Communion.

Later notices and news were shared and the congregation was especially briefed about the upcoming events about Easter, Family Seminar and Summer Picnic. Also, friends visiting the Gujarati Church for the first time were welcomed; friends who had their birthdays and marriage anniversaries too were wished and congratulated.

The meeting later ended with refreshments giving time and opportunity for individuals and families to socialise and share about their lives with each other.
