Approximately 100 members participated in this GCFUK 2nd Anniversary and Choir Sunday Worship Service. Rev. Immanuel Christian ministered the Holy Communion during the service.

On this special day marking the 2nd Anniversary of GCFUK, its talented Choir took the lead and conducted the day’s service. Special worship songs were brought by the choir, the vocalists had melodious voices and the musicians were simply impeccable together created a divine and soothing heavenly atmosphere.

This Sunday also marked the release of GCFUK Choir’s music CD in which Choir members’ days and months of sincere efforts were invested. Choir director Steven Christian who served and led the Choir ministry for past two years was felicitated by GCFUK with a Certificate of Appreciation for his dedicated efforts in nurturing and bringing the GCFUK’s Choir ministry where it is today. With him now returning to India and for his pioneering work at GCFUK he will be fondly remembered for a long time.

Also, Rev. Immanuel Christian brought the message for the day ‘Giving thanks at all times’ focusing on Job’s life – the trials he faced, the questions he raised, his encounter with God and ultimately in this encounter the seemingly desperate answers becoming irrelevant as he uncovers the real issue – his relationship with God, his quality of faith and trusting God at all times.

Later an annual report for last one year was presented highlighting the various activities and registration of GCFUK as a Charity. In this report, members were briefed about the future plans of GCFUK for the next 12 months and formal membership to GCFUK church service was also invited.

The meeting later ended with refreshments giving time and opportunity for individuals and families to socialise and share about their lives with each other.
